No to Kitchen Mold

One of the worst possible issues that can befall your home is a mold infestation. There are more than one hundred thousand different species of mold some of which have the potential to invade your home, posing serious health risks to you and your family. The worst thing about mold is that often the microscopic spores are practically invisible as they float in the air where they can be inhaled, causing health issues. Kitchens are particularly prone to mold infestation because of the high level of humidity and moisture. Kitchens use a large amount of water and if water sources are not carefully controlled then they can become a haven for mold.

However, leaking pipes and drains cause moisture which will soon spread to the wooden areas of the cabinet and prolonged exposure will cause mold to grow. Another source of mold problems can be leaks from refrigerator drains.
